Dr. Leonard is an Excellent Primary Care Physician, and I would highly recommend anyone to him as a patient who is looking for a New Primary Doctor in Columbia, SC. Dr. Leonard takes the time to listen to a patient's concern(s) about his or her health. He doesn't make a patient feel like you're asking dumb questions about your health. I am a patient currently going through Aggressive Chemo Treatments for Breast Cancer. Dr. Leonard listens to my health concerns regarding Chemo with compassion and understanding. Yes I am scare of Chemo but I refused to give up or into Cancer. Dr. Leonard will also do the research on your health to find a solution(s) regarding your health concerns. Dr. Leonard has Excellent Bedside Manners which is a great quality to have as a doctor !!!!!!!!! I referred my Neice to him as a new patient and she truly likes him. I also referred my Sister to him as a new patient and she has an appointment this week. All of his staff are very friendly, none judgemental, and care about patients as soon as they walk through the door until the patient completed his or her visit with Dr. Leonard. I also love the way his staff doesn't keep sticking you when doing lab work which is great ! ! ! ! ! ! If anyone needs a Primary Care Physician they should give his office a call in Columbia, SC.

Dr Leonard has an excellent bedside manner. It's important to me that a doctor not make me feel like they're rushing me out of the room after I've waited to see them, and Dr Leonard definitely didn't. He was very personable and thorough. He asked appropriate questions to rule out any potential problems even though I was scheduled for medication follow-up,e and he wasn't dismissive when I voiced some relatively minor concerns. I also loved that he gave me a business card with a direct line to his office, instructing me to call anytime I needed or if I had questions/concerns. I've had problems in the past not being able to reach my doctor when they're part of a big practice with multiple locations, so this was comforting.

I was very impressed with my first visit with Dr. Leonard. He actually took time to discuss my health. He was very knowledgeable with great bedside manner. I'm glad to be a under his care because he seems to really care!
